Mobile Expertise and Thought Leadership Shared with Techweek Audience at the Addison Treehouse
On November 1, 2017, SevenTablets, Inc., Girls in Tech and Fossil hosted a live workshop at the Addison Treehouse. The audience consisted of graphic designers, software developers, and other business professionals interested in learning best practices of User Experience design.
Rachel Tang, Managing Director of Girls in Tech, served as the primary host of the Techweek event. Alongside Girls in Tech, Marie Libres of Fossil added value by discussing a project that started poorly but ultimately found acceptance after gaining a full understanding of the end users’ expectations. Lacey Williams, Digital Marketing Manager at SevenTablets, offered expertise on mobile UX design and connected with the audience by expanding on the need for creating a design that is fully considerate of a company’s immediate goals while still accounting for long-term growth needs.
Following the thought leadership that kicked off the workshop, Adam Rizzieri, SevenTablets’ Director of Marketing facilitated a live workshop where the audience was divided into teams that were tasked with solving a real world UX design problem.
With business strategy as a key consideration in solving UX challenges, workshop participants noted that the experience made them more aware of the immediate implications that come from a creative process.
